Police in Tauranga have arrested a man they say entered the district council building and smashed windows and computers with a crowbar.
Police were called to the building on Cameron Road just after 4 pm on Thursday where they found the 52-year-old man in the council carpark.
No one was injured during the incident.
The man will appear in the Tauranga District Court on Friday facing a number of criminal charges.
