A man has been arrested over evidence given at the inquest into the deaths of three men in a mid-air collision over Paraparaumu in 2008.
Police have charged a 52-year-old in relation to an email presented as evidence.
He is accused of forgery, attempting to pervert the course of justice and using a forged document.
The man will appear in the Porirua District Court on Tuesday.
The inquest was held after a Cessna light aircraft was in a collision with a helicopter.
A helicopter flight examiner, his 19-year-old student and the 17-year-old plane pilot died in the accident.
