Police in Raglan say they have no immediate plans to search for a woman seen jumping from a bridge there on Sunday night.
They were called at about 9.45pm when a woman was seen jumping off the Wainui bridge, after an argument with somebody in a nearby car.
Police, Coastguard and surf life savers searched the area afterwards, but did not find her.
Constable Dean McMillan says it's likely the woman just went for a quick swim, as the vehicle was seen driving away from the area about five minutes later. The tide was close to high at the time.
