Accused killer now named

A man accused of the murder of a pensioner in Christchurch can now be named.

A homicide investigation was begun after the body of Kenneth John Moore, 65, was found at his home in the suburb of Waltham, on 8 January.

Police believe he was killed in his home on 6 January.

Christopher Glenn Gleeson, 25, a manager, appeared again at a sitting of Christchurch District Court at the men's prison on Monday and was further remanded in custody until 13 February.
