Police have recovered the body of a 15-year-old swimmer who went missing at a west Auckland beach last week.
The boy was swept out to sea while bathing at O'Neills Bay on Thursday.
Police say their Eagle helicopter found the body at Kirikiri Bay, north of Bethells Beach, on Tuesday evening.
