Danish tourist in hospital after collapsing during guided tour

A 79-year-old Danish tourist is being treated in Rotorua Hospital after being rescued from Mount Tongariro on Saturday afternoon.
Two land search and rescue teams were deployed to get the man after he collapsed during a guided tour over the Tongariro Alpine Crossing.
The man was with his wife and son and was given CPR by the guide and was able to be revived.
