A replacement for Frans Steyn has been called into South Africa's Rugby World Cup squad.
Steyn, 24, injured his left shoulder against Samoa in a pool match at North Harbour stadium on Friday and will need surgery.
Fullback Zane Kirchner will join the Springboks squad in Wellington on Tuesday.
