Eden Park will be filled to capacity for the Rugby World Cup final between New Zealand and France with the last lot of tickets selling out on Wednesday.

Nine hundred extra tickets were released at midday after the New Zealand and French Rugby Unions and teams finalised their required seat numbers for the Auckland match which starts at 9pm (local time) on Sunday.

Some 600 tickets sold out within the first 15 minutes, most via the Rugby World Cup website.

The more expensive tickets took a while longer to go.

The bronze final between Wales and Australia for third place will be played at Eden Park on Friday. The stadium can seat 60,000 people.
