Rugby New Zealand 2011 chief executive Martin Snedden says the Rugby World Cup tournament will be a success whether the All Blacks win or lose.
''The feedback we're getting from the IRB, the New Zealand public, international rugby fans and international media is that they've loved the tournament,' he said.
Mr Snedden said an All Blacks win would be the icing on the cake.
The tournament has surpassed its revenue target, with $268.5 million in ticket sales.
