Wool prices have crept up a bit further at the latest wool sale, one of the biggest of the season.
More than 90% of the 26,000 bales were sold at the combined North and South Island auction this week.
The exporter, New Zealand Wool Services International, reports a firm to dearer market for most wool types, helped by a slightly weaker dollar.
Fine crossbred fleece and shears fetched up to 5% more than last week, supported by steady Chinese demand.
Coarse crossbred fleece and shears were up to 3% dearer.
Most first lambs wool also rose by up to 2% and oddments ranged from firm to 4% stronger.
