Kiwifruit Vine Health is meeting Primary Industries Minister David Carter on Monday to discuss a plan for the future of the industry.
Representatives from KVH will discuss the implementation by the ministry of a national management plan for the PSA vine killing disease.
KVH chief executive Barry O'Neil says the agency has collated the outcome of a national poll of kiwifruit growers and packhouse operators who lease orchards, which it held late last month.
He says 50% of eligible voters took part in the poll, with nearly 80% in favour of the strategy.
Mr O'Neil says KVH will submit its full proposed national management strategy for PSA, which complies with the Biosecurity Act, to Mr Carter in October.
