Wool prices were mixed at this week's North Island sale, with finer types easing and coarser types firming.
Some 88% of the 11,500 bales on offer were sold, and the mixed prices follow a month of small gains.
The main exporter, Wool Services International, says fine crossbred full fleece eased by 2% and hogget shears were up to 3.5% cheaper.
However, coarse full length fleece rose by 4% and coarse shears were up by 2.5%.
