New Zealand grass-fed beef was a major draw card at a New Zealand cultural festival held recently in South Korea.

An estimated 13,000 visitors attended the New Zealand Unlimited event in Seoul which showcased food, beverages and tourism.

Meat and Wool says some visitors waited for up to two hours to get a sample of beef from its stand.

Market manager for Korea John Hundleby says although Korean consumers are more familiar with Australian and American grain-fed beef, the positive response shows the New Zealand product is well-suited to their palates.
