The New Zealand chairman of the Campaign for Wool says after two years of hard work, a turnaround in the international demand for wool is finally being seen.
The five-year global initiative which the Prince of Wales launched in London two years ago is focused on creating more awareness of all types of wool, particularly in the northern hemisphere.
Chairman Fookes says the recent roll out of the campaign in the United States was very successful.
He says the Love Wool UK programme, which has been extremely cost effective, will be launched in New Zealand early next year.
During his visit to New Zealand, Prince Charles will visit a wool showcase the campaign is hosting in Auckland.
