North Island triallists have won three out of the four events at the South Island sheepdog championships at Geraldine.
Foxton triallist Rob Mather with sheepdog Lace took the Long Head event, while Steve Murphy from Whangamomona and Kahu won the Short Head and Yard.
A Taihape team, Gavin Drake and Maggie, won the Straight Huntaway.
Russell Peek from Palmerston with Task claimed the Zig Zag Huntaway event.
Triallists will now be turning their attention to the North Island and national championships next month.
