Pasture growth index down

The Dairy Trader reports that the NZX pasture growth index for all dairying regions for November is tracking 11% below the same period last year.

In the past week, the potential for grass growth on dairy farms has been hampered by a lack of moisture in some regions.

However, growth rates are still 30% higher than they were in November 2010.
