An annual Lifestyle Farmers field day has found the recession has caused no depression when it comes to interest in the event.
The fielday on Saturday at Otaki, is in its 18th year.
Organiser Peter Burke says exhibitors from as far afield as Auckland and Christchurch will be there. He says there's still a lot of interest in life style farming.
Despite generally unsettled weather, Mr Burke is optimistic that there will be reasonable conditions for the event because Otaki has a more benign micro-climate than surrounding areas.
