Textiles New Zealand's newly appointed chairman is heading a review of the organisation's role.
The organisation works in partnership with the Government and represents the interests of the carpet, apparel, footwear and textile industries.
Chairman Stephen Fookes says the organisation has been effective in the past, but it is appropriate to re-evaluate whether a new direction is called for.
Mr Fookes says he's determined the review will help build a much stronger textile industry.
