A dairy farmer from Titoki,west of Whangarei, will be heading for the ANZ Young Farmer grand final in Auckland in May, after winning the Northland regional contest.
Ian Douglas, 29, who was runner-up in the regional final last year, took the top spot and $9000 worth of prizes.
David Kidd from Helensville Young Farmers Club took second place.
