The agricultural organics sector in New Zealand is growing at 8% per year - with both domestic and international demand for organic goods showing no signs of slowing.
Organics Aotearoa New Zealand launched its 2012 market report at Parliament on Wednesday.
The report's authors said exports by the industry first reached $1 million in 1991. By last year, the value of organic exports had risen to $217 million.
The domestic organics market was worth more than $130 million last year.
