Scientists hold out hope of fisheries recovery

The world's depleted fisheries can be saved from collapse if governments act to manage commercial fishing, says a team of international scientists.

A study in the journal Science says a combination of measures, including catch quotas, no-take zones and selective fishing gear, has helped fish stocks recover in the United States, Iceland and New Zealand.
