NZ Wool Services International reports 19 micron and finer merino fleece gained 5% to 10% on the previous southern sale a fortnight ago.
Coarser merino wool prices increased by up to 5% while other wool types held steady.
More than 80% of the 13,000 bales on offer was sold.
