The Taratahi agricultural training centre, based in Wairarapa, is extending its farm training programme courses into Hawke's Bay.
It's formed a partnership with the Eastern Institute of Technology which will allow it to run a certificate in agriculture programme at the institute's Taradale campus.
Business development manager Stephen Carr says the aim is to make the farming courses more widely available, beyond its base in Wairarapa and a satellite facility in Taranaki.
In a reverse arrangement, Taratahi also has a new partnership with Lincoln University to deliver its diploma in agriculture programme in the North Island.
