Another real estate company has cast its net into the UK in the hunt for buyers for New Zealand farms.
In August, Bayleys announced it had formed an alliance with Smiths Gore in Britain, to attract investors considering New Zealand farms as a stable investment option.
Now PGG Wrightson Real Estate has teamed up with a British rural property and agribusiness company, Bidwells.
While it's aiming to facilitate investment in rural New Zealand from those who are not necessarily farmers, PGG Wrightson says it will also be looking for British farmers who want to make a fresh start.
It says there is considerable interest in New Zealand farms, especially in large-scale arable and dairy units.
As well as British investors and farmers having access to New Zealand properties on the market, PGG Wrightson says the agreement will make it easier for New Zealand farmers to look at properties in Britain.
