The Southern Agricultural field days at Waimumu, near Gore, has seen a big lift in visitors this year. The event held its third and final day on Friday.
Organisers estimate about 27,000 people have been through the gates, compared with the 20,000 attenace at the previous field days, two years ago.
The weather stayed fine and warm for this year's event, which features almost 600 exhibitors.
But exhibitors are finding buyers a little more cautious this year, especially dairy farmers.
Some regular exhibitors say they are getting plenty of enquiries, but not as many immediate sales as previously.
