Fonterra denies accusations in Sri Lanka that it has not complied with a court order there forbidding it from selling or advertising its product for a fortnight.
A union in Sri Lanka succeeded in having the ban introduced after raising concerns about the company selling product there which it said was tainted with DCD.
Now the same group has made an application to a Sri Lankan court claiming that Fonterra has not complied with the the order, by continuing to conduct business.
A spokesperson for Fonterra in New Zealand said that's not true and its Sri Lankan subsidary has fully complied with all aspects of the order.
