Specialty milk company A2 Corporation has joined the host of dairy marketers beating a path to China.
It launched its own infant formula there, this week.
The formula, made by the Synlait Milk company in Canterbury, will be initially sold through specialist baby shops in China.
A2 Corporation markets and licenses others to produce and sell milk without the A1 protein that some scientific studies have linked with digestion and health issues.
It operates in Australia, New Zealand and the UK and besides China, is looking to expand into other Asian makets, as well as North America and Europe.
