Mangatapere dairy farming couple Kent and Jennifer Martin have won the sharemilking title in Northland's dairy industry awards.
It was the second time they'd entered the regional competition.
Mark Clements, who won the Northland farm manager of the year, runs a 320ha farm at Kaeo, milking 650 cows.
The winner of the region's dairy traineer of the year title, Michael Deal, works for former Northland and New Zealand sharemilking award winners, Bruce and Julie Paton.
They also employ the second place-getter in the farm manager contest, Charlotte Barr, who won the trainee award last year.
The Northland winners will compete in the national dairy award finals in Rotorua in May.
