The winner of the Taranaki/Manawatu region's Young Farmer competition, Chris Will of Levin, attributes the victory to extra experience he has gained over the years.
As well as holding a bachelor of Agriculture, Mr Will is a 50/50 sharemilker and works as an artificial insemination technician for the Livestock Improvement Corporation.
This will be his second time at the Grand Final after representing the region last year.
That event will be held in Gore in July.
