The slide in international dairy prices has halted.
Prices in the latest GlobalDairyTrade auction overnight rose for the first time since February.
The average selling price shown in the GDT Price Index gained 0.9 percent, due to increases in whole milk powder, cheese, butter and butter milk powder prices.
Whole milk powder prices rose across all contracts due for delivery from August to December.
However, anhydrous milkfat prices fell by 3.8 percent, while skim milk powder also dipped slightly by 0.2 percent.
