At the end of the national and South Island sheepdog trials in Gore, the long head event was won by North Canterbury's Neil Evans with Rose.
The short head and yard title went to Otago's Lloyd Smith with Ace, while the zigzag huntaway event was won by Stuart McNeill of Napier and Bruce.
The straight huntaway title went to southern Hawke's Bay's Jim Chaffey with Maid.
