A Lincoln University scientist has won an achievement award for his work in seed research and development.
Professor John Hampton received the PGG Wrightsons Seeds 2010 Significant Achiever Award at the Institute of Agricultural and Horticultural Science association's annual meeting on Thursday.
Professor Hampton works at the Bio-Protection Research Centre at Lincoln University and is the Inaugural Director of its Seed Research Centre.
He is also the President of the International Seed Testing Association.
