The latest funding round of the Government's Primary Growth Partnership programme has drawn to a close, with 14 proposals received.
The Ministry of Agriculture says the applications, which seek more than a quarter of a billion dollars in funding, have come from the red-meat, wool, horticulture, dairy and forestry sectors, with one cross-sector bid.
It says the bids will be reviewed by the Investment Advisory Panel, and successful applicants will be notified in early December.
The programme was launched last year with the aim of investing in primary-sector research and innovation.
Five grants have been approved to date, with the Government committing $164 million over the next five to seven years towards total funding of $368 million.
