The kiwifruit industry has set up a new organisation to oversee the management of the PSA disease which kills vines.
Kiwifruit Vine Health has been formed to arrange funding for growers affected by PSA and to develop a long-term disease management strategy.
PSA is now confirmed on 100 orchards across the country, in all major growing areas except Northland.
