Allied Farmers has appointed Paul Macfie as its chief executive, replacing David Bale.
He has had over 30 years experience in the rural sector, including senior management roles at Wrightson NMA, SouthFert, Allied Farmers and Williams & Kettle.
For the last 18 months, he has been working for sharebroker McDouall Stuart.
Mr Macfie starts on Wednesday at the listed rural services and finance company.
