Reunion at former Flock House training farm

3:45 pm on 6 December 2008

Hundreds of ex-agricultural students were at Bulls on Friday for a reunion at the former Flock House training farm.

The reunion coincides with centennial celebrations at the original McKelvie Homestead.

The property was bought In 1918 by a group of sheep farmers as part of a training farm for British children who were made orphans during World War One.

General manager Marcus Hawkins says Flock House has been involved with agricultural training ever since.
