The kiwifruit marketer Zespri has appointed its former supply chain general manager as its new chief executive.
Lain Jager has nine year's experience within the company and has been acting as chief executive for the last five months.
Mr Jager said his immediate focus will be unlocking the value within the green kiwifruit business and continuing to build demand for kiwifruit through new cultivars.
