The cream production of New Zealand dairy giant Fonterra reached record levels for the Christmas period.
The Anchor cream plant at Takanini south of Auckland processed 30,000 litres of cream a day in the weeks leading up to Christmas.
Fonterra Brands marketing manager Andrew Smith said the factory was producing enough cream to cover 50,000 pavlovas a day.
