Global dairy prices slipped further in Fonterra's online auction this week, to reach their lowest average in more than a year.
But that won't have any impact on the final milk price and dividend payout for the past season, which the co-operative will confirm when it announces its financial results for the year on Thursday.
Last season's forecast payout stands at $8 to $8.10, made up of a milk price of $7.50 a kilo and a share dividend of 50c to 60c.
The current season's forecast is $7.15 to $7.25.
