Onion growers worried about northern crop volumes

Onion growers are quite worried about large quantities of onions in Europe and North America.

Country Life reports that the volumes could result in weak demand for New Zealand crops.

NZ onions tend to head to export markets in the northern hemisphere in summer.

Many other vegetable crops have grown rapidly this week and it's difficult to find markets for some lines of produce.
