Much silage is being made at present. Everyone who can in Waikato and in Manawatu are doing so, but other areas are not so lucky.

Much silage is being made at present.

Country Life reports everyone who can in Waikato is doing so.

Quite a bit of silage has been cut also in Manawatu where the weather has been variable with showery days.

But Wairarapa has been too wet and farmers can't get on the paddocks.

And farmers in Taranaki are struggling as it's been difficult to get two or three consecutive fine days.
