Federated Farmers president Bruce Wills says farmers have mixed views on whether the State farming business, Landcorp, should join other State assets in being part-offered for sale.
Prime Minister John Key told a meeting of the national council of the federation earlier this month that a sale or partial sale of Landcorp was not on the agenda.
But Labour's agriculture spokesperson Damien O'Connor predicts a sell-down of Landcorp will emerge as a Government proposal at some stage.
But Mr Wills says there are two schools of thought among farmers on that.
