Two players aiming for their first titles at Challenger level have won through to the final of the Wellington Women's tennis tournament after straight set wins indoors in their semifinals.
Fifth seed Sandra Zaniewska of Poland upset the top seeded South African teenager Chanel Simmonds in straight sets while eighth seed, Ying-Ying Duan of China beat compatriot and sixth seed Yue-Yue Hu also in straight sets.
Earlier Simmonds didn't go home empty handed picking up the doubles title with Brit Anna Fitzpatrick after beating Sung-Hee Han of Korea and Japan's Yurina Koshino in straight sets.
