Arsenal took pole position in the race for fourth spot in the English Premier League with a 2-1 victory at Liverpool this morning.
Robin van Persie, who had equalised in the first half, won it for Arsenal in injury time with a brilliant volley to put them three points clear of Chelsea in fourth.
Liverpool remain seventh with a game in hand but are now 10 points off the pace.
