Australia might lose Warner for second tri-series final

The Australian opening batsman David Warner smashed a sensational 163 before his team withstood a fierce fightback to secure a 15-run victory over Sri Lanka in the first final of the one-day international Tri-series in Brisbane last night.

Warner's innings carried the home team to 321-6, but they had to quell a threatening comeback by Sri Lanka who rallied from 144 for 6 before being dimissed for 306 with four balls remaining.

Warner had been dismissed off the last ball of Australia's 50 overs, but during his innings he suffered a groin injury and might miss tomorrow's second match in Adelaide.
