Ferrari's downcast about its chances ahead of the opening Formula One grand prix of the season in Melbourne in two weeks.

After the final pre-season testing session in Barcelona Ferrari's technical director Pat Fry says they're unlikely to win or even be among the first three.

Fry says they're disappointed with the performance levels in Barcelona and says they have a lot of work ahead of them having won just once last season at Silverstone in Britain.

Ferrari, whose stepped-nose car has been described as one of the ugliest they have ever designed, made changes to their exhaust positions during testing to try and extract more performance.
