Sri Lanka take tri series to decider with thumping win

The Sri Lankan cricketers achieved a thumping 8-wicket win over Australia in Adelaide last night to take their one-day international tri series to a third and deciding match.

After restricting Australia to 271 for 6, Tillakaratne Dilshan and Mahela Jawawardene set up the victory with an opening partnership of 179 ... Dilshan smashing 106 and Jayawardene 80, and they won with 34 balls to spare.

In Australia's innings Michael Clarke and David Warner made light of injuries to score 117 and 100 respectively, Clarke punishing Sri Lanka for dropping him three times.

Clarke's hamstring injury could rule him out of tomorrow's deciding match in Adelaide, and he might not make the plane on Friday for Australia's tour of the West Indies.
