The New Zealand Rugby Union says Sir Graham Henry's role in Argentina will be to coach the coaches, not the players.

It's been announced that the former All Blacks coach is to mentor Argentina's high performance coaches, as the national side prepares to enter this year's new Investec Rugby Championship alongside, New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa.

If follows his appointment earlier this year as a mentor to New Zealand's High Performance coaches at Investec Super Rugby and ITM Cup level.

The NZRU High Performance manager, Don Tricker, says Sir Graham's part-time consultancy role won't involve hands on contact with the Argentinian players.
