The New Zealand cyclist Hayden Roulston has recorded the 6th fastest time in the final stage of the Italian Tirreno-Adratico tour.

While happy with his finish, in his first tour since overcoming injury, Roulston will be upset his RadioShack team-mate Chris Horner was unable to hold on for the tour title.

The American Horner was pipped on the last day by local Vincenzo Nibali.

Roulston hopes to next compete in the Milan San Remo tour, a 298km one day event, this weekend.
