Wright expects Hamilton to be good for batting

6:26 am on 15 March 2012

The New Zealand cricket coach John Wright is expecting another good batting strip at Seddon Park in Hamilton for the second test against South Africa which starts tomorrow.

The three-match series is level at one-all after rain washed out the first test in Dunedin.

The Seddon Park wicket was quite green earlier in the week, but Wright is sure that will change.

Brent Arnel and Mark Gillespie are the leading contenders to replace Tim Southee in the bowling attack, with the wicket not expected to be of much assistance to leg spinner Tarun Nethula.
